Bastian Insurance Agency, Inc. was started in 1905 in Hinckley, Illinois. The Agency was incorporated in 1968 as Bastian Agency Inc. Bryce Carey began his insurance career as an agent in 1976 and purchased the agency in 1980. Bryce continues today as the owner and producer for the agency. In 1995 Bryce Carey and Brian McSherry joined into an agreement forming BMC Insurance Group LLC. This agreement allows the two individual agencies (BMC Insurance Agency Inc. and McSherry Agency Inc.) to combine products and knowledge of the industry to their clients. In 2006 BMC Insurance Agency, Inc. opened a second location at 330 Division Dr. Suite C, Sugar Grove, IL.
